There is no shortage of great leadership blog posts you can read on the internet and this past week was no different. I provided a similar list last week as well which you can read by clicking here.
I want to always try to mix up the authors from week-to-week which allows you to have different perspectives. There are many posts this week that deal with character issues. It is always disheartening when you see a leader’s talent take them to a place where their character cannot sustain them. What a waste!
With that said, here is the list in alphabetical order by author.
- Long Surprises In Doing Right Thing, Now Will Arkansas Stand Behind Him? by my favorite college football writer Tony Barnhart. I love the perspective he gives on the Bobby Petrino saga.
- Unconventional Does Not Mean Unacceptable is a great post from Dan Black On Leadership.
- 4 Measurements Leaders Need to Weigh, Not Count comes from one of my favorite bloggers Scott Cochrane.
- Why Church is Hard is from an incredible writer named Nicole Cottrell who runs the site www.ModernReject.com. Nicole provides as unique a perspective on the Christian life as you will read.
- 100 Pastors Speak Out – Survey Results unveils a sobering picture of what church leaders are experiencing.
- The end of the diva paradox by Seth Godin is a favorite because I feel generosity and relationships are the new currency. Jerks no longer win, no matter how talented they are!
- From Champs To Chomped: How Urban Meyer Broke Florida Football was sent to me a couple of days before it became a national story by Kevin Camps. Thank you Kevin! Very controversial piece by Sporting News writer Matt Hayes.
- Is It Starbucks or is it church? Tony Morgan is just an absolute genius! And so is this post.
- Top Ten Financial Mistakes A Church Makes Part One and Part Two by NewSpring Church Senior Pastor Perry Noble will help all Christian leaders better fund vision.
- 19 Essential WordPress Plugins For Your Blog written by Eric Siu, the Vice President of SEO at Evergreen Search for www.ProBlogger.net, is an invaluable resource that every blogger should have. I have already began using some of these. This post will make you a better blogger!
Well that is my list. What other great leadership posts did you read this week that you would recommend?
