This past week featured some incredible writing on the subject of leadership.  The following were my 10 favorite posts I read since Monday.  They really helped challenged me and helped improve my leadership.  Click on the links as I know they will make you a better leader as well.

  2. 5 Things Facebook Users Want From Your Church by Carrie Busha at www.ChurchTechToday.com.  Pastors and church leaders, we live in a different world now.  It is time to properly utilize this resource if you are not already.
  3. 5 Lessons Steve Jobs Could Teach You About Creating a Popular Blog by Greg Digneo on www.ProBlogger.net.  I learn something new every time I read about Steve Jobs.
  4. “Overcoming the Fear of Inadequacy” by Derwin Gray.  I am constantly in rooms I feel like I have no business being in.  This post will really help you if you are constantly intimidated by others or do not feel “worthy.”
  5. This World Has Nothing For Me by Sundi Jo.  I read this incredible post about facing death at the recommendation of Lyn Smith.  It is unbelievable!
  6. 8 Tips for the Free Agents and Consultants by Brad Lomenick.  Since I am a church consultant, this post really hit home.
  7. Six Considerations for Leaders Who Are Not Steve Jobs by Thom Rainer.  Well, that would be me and most likely, you as well.
  8. Unfamiliar Territory For Kobe Bryant by Ramona Shelburne on www.ESPN.com.  This is a great post about the evolution of a leader and the difficulty in dealing with change.
  9. The Typical Pastor’s Wife Is Dead by Lori Wilhite on www.ChurchLeaders.com.  Some titles simply need no explanation.
  10. 10 Ways To Make Leadership Simple by Scott Williams.  Scott is one of my favorite writers and I enjoyed meeting him earlier this year.  Also, I would like to congratulate him on having his Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Lakers!
