The next speaker was Alan Mulally.  Alan was the president and CEO of Ford Motor Company from 2006-2014.  Under his leadership, Ford became the #1 automotive brand in the United States and one of the top organizations globally.

  34. The “love” word had never been used at Ford.
  35. The store owners knew it was going to be different because we were going to work together.
  36. We reinstated the dividend and increased it five times.
  37. Only 42% of all employees worldwide have a positive impression about the company they work for. 58% come to work everyday for a salary but not to build a cathedral.
  38. The percent positive at Ford is 89%.
