The day’s next speaker was Bishop T.D. Jakes.  Bishop Jakes is a visionary, provocative thinker and entrepreneur who serves as senior pastor of The Potter’s House, a global humanitarian organization and 30,000-member church. He was also named “America’s Best Preacher” by Time Magazine.

  35. When you recognize the brotherhood of men you experience the power of God.
  36. The church has done the worst job of recognizing the brotherhood.
  37. You have to be intentional about love.
  38. You have to tear down the natural tendency of people to be comfortable.
  39. We were much more like God when we were creating.
  40. The very first thing God told men to do was to be fruitful.
  41. If you give a person a strategy it’s better than giving person a check.
  42. If you do church the way your father did church, you will miss what God has for you. Joshua didn’t do what Moses did.
  43. You are gifted and you gifted with multiple gifts.
  44. What are you going to do with what God gave you.
  45. God has given you more than what your life shows.
  46. I do not want you to die wondering what would have happened if you lived your life to the fullest.
  47. If you can think the impossible, the unthinkable, you will be shocked how you can reach the unfathomable.
