Sometimes I think we just make leadership too difficult.  Leadership is influence.  It is about movement.  The most difficult and important form of leadership is self-leadership.  You cannot lead others if you cannot first lead yourself.  And above all, leadership is about people – serving them, honoring them, encouraging them and helping them reach their full potential.

This is why I love this week’s Top 10 list so much.  Many of these posts deal with the fundamentals of quality leadership.  Make sure you and your staff check out each one.

Also, the following are two resources I want to make you aware of.  These will equip you to do ministry more effectively:

Leadership Summaries for Pastors

30 Day Leadership Challenge by Brian Beauford and the team at Ministry Library.  This is a private FREE private Facebook group that will help pastors and senior church leaders in the areas of time management, delegation, turning volunteers into leaders, and building a culture of leadership development.  Make sure you sign up by clicking HERE.  For quality leadership development resources, few are better than Ministry Library.  Check out their video on the left for more.
