Research shows over 70% of all six-figure income earners consider themselves avid sports fans.  This makes a lot of sense.  Sports involves measurable results, wins and losses, conflict resolution, team building, pressure, player development, strategy, perseverance, and pushing yourself to do more than you thought you were capable of.

As a leader, this is why I am so excited about the start of college football season.  This weekend, there were some great leadership insights provided on various pre-season shows.  Listed below are the coaches and their quotes along with an application for any leader who may be reading this post.
