“Hey pastor, have we ever thought about doing it this way?”
I don’t know how many times I’ve asked that in my life. Probably hundreds. But the question flows from a great passion I have for what God is doing at my church and a deep desire to doing something significant with my life.
Because of that, I absolutely LOVE other volunteers who have BIG vision, BIG dreams, and BIG passion. The following are just some of the reasons why:
- Volunteers with BIG vision make great leaders.
- Volunteers with BIF vision think of things never thought of before.
- Volunteers with BIG vision see new ways things can get done.
- Volunteers with BIG vision are just delightful as they carry out their responsibilities.
- Volunteers with BIG vision do not need permission.
- Volunteers with BIG vision are passionate about making friends and serving in community.
- Volunteers with BIG vision are not limited by negative experiences.
- Volunteers with BIG vision need champions who will continually encourage them.
- Volunteers with BIG vision do not require a precedent for their actions.
- Volunteers with BIG vision create.
- Volunteers with BIG vision are proactive and do not have to wait to be asked to move forward.
- Volunteers with BIG vision will make mistakes but….
- Volunteers with BIG vision are worth the risk.
- Volunteers with BIG vision do things that are memorable.
- Volunteers with BIG vision are who you want on staff
- Volunteers with BIG vision do much with little resources.
- Volunteers with BIG vision need to have obstacles removed from them by those in leadership.
- Volunteers with BIG vision do not need a title.
- Volunteers with BIG vision can be high maintenance but….
- Volunteers with BIG vision are also the ones who will change the world.
Do you have any volunteers with BIG vision at your church? If so, what systems do you have in place that will enable them to freely experience God’s absolute best in their lives?
