How To Grow A Plateaued, Declining, Or Dying Church – Part 3 Of My Interview Series With Ike Reighard

“The smell of death was in the air.” – Ike Reighard when he first walked into Piedmont Church.

Statistically, 4 out of 5 churches in the United States are plateaued, declining, or any many cases, even dying.  This would describe Piedmont Church back in January, 2006 when Ike Reighard became the church’s Interim, then Senior Pastor.  The church was literally, due to finances and structural damage, 6 to 12 months from shutting its doors.

Today, the church runs over 1,000 in weekly attendance and became the catalyst for revitalizing its community.  Below are two videos that make up the third part of my interview series with Dr. Reighard on how to grow a church.  It is a must watch for anyone in full-time ministry or serves in leadership at a local church.  Ike’s recount of the last six years will not only encourage and inspire you, but he will give you tips on how to reverse negative momentum and begin impacting your community in a positive way.
