Earlier this week I conducted a webinar for over 300 pastors and church leaders entitled “I Want Better Volunteers” which I want to make available to you by clicking the image above. The core of this presentation was 10 Differences Between Great Volunteer Leaders And Bad Volunteer Leaders (for notes click HERE).
Previously, I had never heard anyone discuss that within a church’s “Top 20%” of its volunteers, some are very, very good. And some are simply very, very bad. Understanding the reasons why is something I wanted to explore.
During this one-hour lesson, I provided for church leaders the following:
- A framework for discipling current volunteer leaders.
- A needed framework for removing leaders you intuitively already know you should.
- A framework for identifying emerging leaders you should have in your inner circle.
To demonstrate the webinar’s value, the following were some comments provided on Twitter during the telecast:
@BrianKDodd @ISS_Injoy //Thanks! It was mind blowing. Really love your blog too! Wish I could write like you sir! LOL
