I love pastors. Pastors spiritually feed us the Word of God each week. Pastors have callous knees from praying for us. Pastors have taken jobs with pay grades far below their level of education. Pastors are under constant evaluation from frankly, unqualified people. Pastors and their families live in glass houses. Pastors are there during the landmark moments of our lives – births, weddings, baptisms, and funerals.
And best of all, most pastors do not quit on Mondays. They keep showing back up to serve us and our Lord with excellence week after week. And because of all they do, we are grateful.
