Martin Luther King Jr.’s Definition Of Success – Dodge Ram Trucks Super Bowl Commercial

https://youtu.be/SlbY1tGARUA

The following is a transcript from Ram Truck’s Super Bowl commercial shown above.  The words were spoken 50 years ago today, February 4, 1968 by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as he quoted Matthew 23:11.

“If you want to be important, wonderful.  If you want to be recognized, wonderful.  If you want to be great, wonderful!

But recognize that he is greatest among you shall be your servant.  That’s a new definition of greatness.

By giving that definition of greatness it means that everybody can be great.  You don’t have to know about playing to an Aristotle to serve.  You don’t have to know the Theory of Relativity to serve.  You don’t know Second Theory of Thermodynamics in physics to serve.

You only need a heart full of grace so generated by love.” – Dr. King

As a bonus, below is Ram’s Farmer commercial from the 2014 Super Bowl.  These people get it.
