Today I had the privilege of being the keynote speaker at the Your Home Sold Guaranteed Realty mastermind event.  You can read my notes here.  This is a very profitable, faith-based organization who is going places.  Even better, I made dozens of new friends.
I followed an incredible session from the company’s CEO, the highly-successful and inspirational Todd Walters.  As he spoke, I realized I was listening to a goldmine of leadership content which I want to pass along to you.
The following are 21 Things Highly Successful Leaders Are Thinking And Talking About.  All quotes are from Todd.
  1. If things aren’t going the way it you believe it should be going, you should only allow it to happen twice.
  2. So many of us want to have all the answers before we try to do something.  Therefore, many people do not try something.
  3. The abnormal parts of your routine is what propels you forward in your business.
  4. “Is what I’m doing right now making a quantum leap?”
  5. Selling is a transference of feeling.  It’s spiritual.  This is because it involves value.  It is what you get from the object.
  6. I like facts especially when they are on my side.
  7. Every business that grows is called an Entrepreneurial Enterprise.
  8. Most people in this room are uncomfortable being comfortable.  Great leaders are rarely comfortable.
  9. Evaluate things based upon what the customers want and give it to them better than anyone else can.
  10. Over the next few years you will see the death of the traditional real estate agent.
  11. The more an industry tries to normalize everyone it creates incredible opportunity for those who want to be successful.  So just write down the norms and do the opposite.
  12. Millennials are starting the companies that are disrupting the real estate agent.  The largest buying group is questioning the value of the real estate agent.
  13. A house is a liability, not an asset.  More money goes out than ever comes back in.
  14. If you are buying leads, that means they had the lead first.  Your job is to wake up and generate the lead first.
  15. Good solutions start with clarity.
  16. Hope is not a great business strategy.  A great leader defines reality.
  17. Once you live a life or run a business by design you’ll see things come into more focus.
  18. Routine = Results
  19. Cost is only a factor in the absence of value.
  20. The size of the hole you give through is the size of the hole you receive through.
  21. The average household has $51,706 in credit card debt.  More than half of workers have less than $25,000 saved for retirement.
