Tonight former NFL executive Bobby Beathard was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is generally considered one of the top talent evaluators in NFL history. The following are just some of his accomplishments:
- Served as a scout for the 1966-67 Kansas City Chiefs and 1968-1971 Atlanta Falcons
- Director of Player Personnel for the 1972-77 Miami Dolphins where he won two Super Bowls
- General Manager of the 1978-1988 Washington Redskins where he won two more Super Bowls
- General Manager of the 1990-99 San Diego Chargers where the team appeared in its only trip to the Super Bowl
- Combined, Bethard’s team appeared in seven Super Bowls, winning four.
