Before getting to this week’s Top 10 list, I want to share with you a very interesting definition of leadership I read in General Stanley McChrystal’s new book Leaders: Myth and Reality.  His definition is “Leadership is a complex system of relationships between leaders and followers, in a particular context, that provides meaning to its members.”  I recommend you read the book’s 385 previous pages as he builds the case for his thoughts.

  6. 5 Reasons Leaders Stop Growing by Shawn Lovejoy via CourageToLead.com.  This is an 8-minute coaching video on 5 Gears of Growth rather than a blog post.  A must-watch!
  7. Bad Things Happen When A Church Terminates A Minister by Dr. Joe McKeever.  Wow!
  8. 5 Disruptive Church Trends That Will Rule In 2019 by Carey Nieuwhof.  The section on live-streaming of services made me a better leader.
  9. How To Ruin Your Life In Your Twenties by Jonathan Pokluda via DesiringGod.org.  Great post!  Spot on!
  10. 5 Positive Insights To Help You Lead Negative People by Dan Reiland.  Dan is one of my favorite people on the planet!
