This Is Your Highest Calling As A Leader

Earlier this week I had the privilege of attending a monthly lunch-and-learn event called Lunch With A Leader.  This event is hosted by NorthStar Church and its senior pastor Mike Linch.  Over 200 business leaders, first responders, coaches, educators, government officials, and ministry leaders attend each month and learn principles of spiritual leadership from Mike.   Stop for a moment and read that previous sentence again!

The goal is to change the communities of Acworth and Kennesaw, GA by helping people lead with their faith out in front.

Mike discussed the potential of those in leadership from the life of Moses from Exodus 2:1-10.  It was just pure leadership gold.  The following 36 Quotes and Lessons About The Potential Of Those In Leadership I captured from Mike’s teaching:

1. We all want to be our best all the time.
2. In the Bible, God gives us the goods and bad.
3. We think of great leaders and we think they must have had it easy.
4. God’s always in control.
5. When you look at Moses’ life, nothing was setup easy.  In fact, there were many things set up for him to fail.
6. Believe that every person is valuable and has great potential to be used by God.
7. See them for who they can be and not who they currently are.  Very few people can pull out the part you don’t see.
8. As a leader, God put you where he put you for the investments you make in people, not just your job.
9. God’s bottom line is always the people.
10. Spiritual leaders have vision to see the best in people.  They see who they could be and are able to call it out.
