10 Football Books Every Leader Needs To Read This Fall (Whether You’re A Sports Fan Or Not) & 9 More Most Read Leadership Posts Of September 2020

The first thoughts that come to my mind are “Thank You!”  Without you the readers, the last 30 days would not have been possible.  September was such a fun month to write about leadership and invest in you.  In addition, I was involved in some very unique leadership opportunities you can be a part of.  Here are a few:

  1. I filmed my portion of next month’s First Impression Conference.  I get the privilege of being a part of an online gathering a diverse group of 120 thinkers, communicators, speakers, authors, storytellers, pastors, guest services practitioners, and pioneers to encourage you in a new season of innovation and creativity.  Join me on this adventure of reaching and engaging with guests. Make sure you use the discount code “DODD” for 50% off your ticket.  Do not miss this!!!  Because of COVID, this is a critical component of knowing best-ministry practices moving forward.
  2. I began co-hosting the Pursuit Of Service podcast with Jeff Wright.  This is a labor of love for me.  We take Jeff’s experience as an Army Ranger, entrepreneur, and elder in a church, coupled with my own experience, and combine them to add value to leaders. Click HERE to listen or check out the post 3 Layers Of Discomfort Every Leader Must Become Comfortable In for the type of content we produce.
  3. I also had the privilege of interviewing Jeff Pearlman, the best-selling author of Three-Ring Circus: Kobe, Shaq, Phil, and the Crazy Years of the Lakers Dynasty for an upcoming podcast.  I feel we explored topics that he hasn’t in his 130+ interviews promoting this project.  Make sure you subscribe to the podcast.  This is a must-listen session for anyone interested in leadership, sports, the NBA, or this era in sports history.

It has been an incredible month!  Thank you for being a part of this.  Your involvement in this site makes all this possible.  Thank you!
