The Top 30 Pastors And Christian Leaders You Should Follow On Twitter in 2023

The Bible is under assault in our world today.  Sadly, it is not just from the secular world but inside the church as well.  That is why my annual list of The Top 30 Pastors And Christian Leaders You Should Follow On Twitter in 2023 consists of those who passionately hold to the inerrancy and sufficiency of the ancient text.

Consisting of sixty-six books, the Bible is God’s spoken word breathed through men and recorded on paper for us.

This annual list is always very popular and very controversial.  I get it.  No matter how long a list such as this may be, you will overlook some incredible Christian leaders.  This is because the Kingdom of God is simply too large to capture on a list.  Perhaps you can help me out and make your own list as well.

The following are The Top 30 Christian Leaders You Should Follow On Twitter in 2023:

1. Kevin Burrell – This is my favorite read on Twitter for leadership content.  In addition to being a professional baseball player and scout for over 40 years, Kevin is deeply (and I mean deeply) committed to making disciples who make disciples.
2. Denny Burk – What an informative and entertaining follow Denny is.  Also, he is a professor @BoyceCollege and @SBTS, President of @CBMWorg, and Associate Pastor  at  @KenwoodBC.
3. Chris Broussard – Chris is the brilliant journalist of @FOXSports, co-Host of ‘“First Things First”@FTFonFS1 on @FS1 & “The Odd Couple” radio show/pod. Chris is also the founder of The K.I.N.G. Movement.  I greatly appreciate his support of the following person on this list.
4. Tony Dungy and All Pro Dad – I appreciate Coach Dungy’s recent stance on biblical marriage.  The NBC broadcaster, Hall of Fame coach, and national spokesman for All Pro Dad brings a level of wisdom and integrity rarely seen.
5. The Babylon Bee – Welcome back my friends from a short period of cancellation!  Nothing is more entertaining on Twitter than the satiric humor of The Babylon Bee.  As they say, this site is fake news you can trust!!!
6. Dr. Sam Chand – Maybe one of the wisest men in Christian leadership and someone I deeply respect.  As a Dream Releaser he serves pastors, ministries, governmental and social organizations and businesses as a Leadership Architect and Change Strategist.  Dr. Chand speaks regularly at leadership conferences, churches, corporations, seminars and other leadership development opportunities.
7. Scott Cochrane – Scott serves on the executive team for the Willow Creek Association, as Vice President, International Ministries. Following a five-year stint as Executive Pastor of a large church, Scott returned to Willow Creek Canada in 2009 as Executive Director, and in 2012 relocated to Illinois to take up his current post with the Willow Creek Association.
8. Phil Cooke – Phil produced TV and film programming in more than 60 countries around the world, and in the process, been shot at, survived two military coups, fallen out of a helicopter, and in Africa, been threatened with prison. And during that time – through his company Cooke Media Group in Los Angeles, California – he’s helped some of the largest Christian and nonprofit organizations in the world use the media to tell their story in a changing, disrupted culture.
9. Jentezen Franklin – Pastor Franklin is the senior pastor of @freechapel located in Gainesville, GA.  He is also a New York Times Best-Selling Author, Director of JFM Media, and one of the most inspirational leaders you will ever meet.
10. Robby Gallaty – Of all the people I know, Robby may be the top expert on creating a discipleship ministry in America.  He is the senior pastor of @LongHollow.  When it comes to the subject of discipleship, get your hands on anything he writes.
11. Rusty George – Pastor Rusty is the lead pastor of Real Life Church in Valencia, CA.  His Leading Simple podcast is a must-listen.  Also, his Leading Through Crisis is a must-have for all pastors whose ministries and communities will one-day experience such things.  Of all the pastoral resources created in 2022, I felt this was the best one.
12. Franklin Graham – Franklin needs no introduction to anyone.  He is the President of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.  His organization provides critical aid to those impacted by natural disasters and tragedy around the world.
13. Derwin Gray – The incomparable Lead Pastor of Transformation Church is Vicki’s husband, Presley and Jeremiah’s papa, and the best-selling author of How To Heal Our Racial Divide.  If you want a realistic and prophetic voice regarding today’s current events and the power of the blood of Jesus and the cross, Pastor Derwin is your follow.
14. Jack Hibbs – Jack is the Senior & Founding Pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills.  Because of his brilliant teaching on prophecy and putting today’s events in a biblical context, Jack became many people’s senior pastor while shut down during the pandemic.  Much like the next gentlemen.
15. David Jeremiah – Dr. Jeremiah became the senior pastor of many people I know during the pandemic who were forced to watch church online and on television because their churches were closed.  He is the senior pastor of @Shadowmtn as well as the Founder of Turning Point Ministries.  Dr. Jeremiah delivers the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world
16. Clayton King – Just a great, great leader.  Clayton is the founder of Crossroads Camps/CKM.  He is also the pastor @NewSpring Church and Minister In Residence at @AndersonU.  Be praying for his wife as you will see in his most recent posts.
17. Chuck Lawless – Chuck is Dean of Doctoral Studies and Vice-President of Spiritual Formation and Ministry Centers at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, where he also serves as Professor of Evangelism and Missions. In addition, he is Team Leader for Theological Education Strategists for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.  Nothing but pure biblical wisdom!!!
18. Greg Laurie – Greg is an author and pastor who serves as the senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California and its multiple campuses.  He is simply an amazing leader.
19. Mike Linch – Simply put, the nicest person I have ever met.  Mike is the Senior Pastor of NorthStar Church and host of the “Linch with a Leader” podcast.
20. Dr. Crawford Loritts – I’ve said it often, no one puts more content into a tweet than this Godly man.  Crawford is the retired senior pastor of Fellowship Bible Church (Roswell, GA), author, speaker, and radio host of Living a Legacy & Legacy Moment.  He and his wife Karen are probably the finest grandparents I have ever met.
21. Thomas McDaniels – I’ve said this often as well, there may not be a more encouraging voice on Twitter than Pastor Thomas McDaniels. Pastor Tom has been the founding pastor at LifeBridge Christian Center in Longview, Texas, since 2005.  He planted his first church in 1989 in Kilgore, Texas. Since that humble beginning he and Charlotte, his wife of 35 years, have successfully planted three additional churches. Pastor Tom has over 30 years of ministry experience and is known for his passion for the Lord.
22. 24. Precept USA – Founded by the legendary Jack and Kay Arthur, this wonderful organization teaches people how to know God’s Word for themselves.  No organization has impacted my life more.
25. Joshua Reich – Josh is the Lead Pastor at Community Covenant Church in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.  The goal of his content is to help you take your next step in leadership & life.  You will find tweets about healthy leadership because without healthy leadership, everything falls apart.
26. Dan Reiland – Dan is one of the people I admire most in Christian leadership.  He is the Executive Pastor at 12Stone Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He previously partnered with John Maxwell for 20 years, first as Executive Pastor at Skyline Wesleyan Church in San Diego, then as Vice President of Leadership and Church Development at INJOY.  Dan is best known as a leader with a pastor’s heart and a coach’s instincts. He truly loves the local church, and is described as one of the nation’s most innovative church thinkers.  His passion is developing and empowering leaders who want to grow, are willing to take risks, and enjoy the journey.
27. Jason Romano and Sports Spectrum – This is where sports and faith intersect.  Jason is the Director of Media with
    @Sports_Spectrum.  He is also the Sports Spectrum Podcast host, author and speaker, and former an ESPN Emmy-winning producer.
28. Priscilla Shirer – Priscilla is the founder of Going Beyond Ministries. This organization is focused on the expository teaching of the Word of God.  They are committed to teaching the uncompromising truths of His Word.  Their desire is not only for all to understand His written Word but for all to experience His Power!
29. Ryan Visconti – Currently, no one may be turning out as much quality content as the lead pastor at Generation Church, a multi-campus church in Arizona.  I am inspired not only by the quality of the content he produces, but the bravery of it.
30. Michael Youssef – Dr. Youssef is Founder and President of Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef.  He is also the Founder & Pastor of The Church of The Apostles in Atlanta, Ga.  Dr. Youssef is the author of 50+ books and a Cultural Anthropologist.
