Business leaders can learn from pastors.<\/li>\n<li>Every decision you make as a leader has a direct impact on the emotion, psyche and spirit of those you lead.<\/li>\n<li>Leaders are visionaries. In the U.S. corporate world only 30% of the employees are engaged in their work. Internationally, it\u2019s half that.<\/li>\n<li>Everyday when I drive on this campus, my heart rate increases.<\/li>\n<li>Great leadership is by definition relentlessly developmental.<\/li>\n<li>Short-term task force allows you to test a young emerging leader.<\/li>\n<li>Resourcefulness is the most important weapons in a leader\u2019s arsenal. We lead in chaotic environments and there is not a roadmap at their level.<\/li>\n<li>Before you put any emerging leader in a senior role you must ascertain what they are going to do when they don\u2019t know what to do.<\/li>\n<li>In today\u2019s complex world, no senior leader can know enough to handle what will be thrown at them.<\/li>\n<li>When is the last time you have taken the time to assign an emerging leader a Pass\/Fail task?<\/li>\n<li>Hirelings don\u2019t give a rip about your sheep. They have no intentions of staying long-term\u2026He will risk nothing for the sake of your sheep.<\/li>\n<li>Owners actually care about the sheep and have a long-term view\u2026They will lay down their life for the sheep.<\/li>\n<li>Find and develop leaders with a legacy mindset.<\/li>\n<li>The average tenure for a Fortune 500 CEO is 4.5 years.<\/li>\n<li>Prevailing churches cannot be built on the shoulders of hirelings with short-term mindsets. They just don\u2019t care enough. They won\u2019t be around long enough to build something lasting.<\/li>\n<li>Legacy leaders are the only ones willing to pay the price to change culture because they\u2019re going to live in it.<\/li>\n<li>Legacy leaders are working for the grander vision.<\/li>\n<li>Legacy leaders are the ones who leave something beautiful behind when their hourglass is empty.<\/li>\n<li>Forgiven much. Worship much.<\/li>\n<li>Right now several hundred are watching this from our newest satellite location \u2013 the Louisiana State Prison.<\/li>\n<li>I\u2019ve never seen a single leader drift into being a legacy leader.<\/li>\n<li>Please don\u2019t go to your grave without tasting a life that is truly life.<\/li>\n<li>Have you given any real thought to what your legacy will be?<\/li>\n<li>Legacy making does come with the price tag. The grander the vision, the greater the price tag.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t be surprised when grand visions get complicated or costly.<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s hard to hear God at Mach 2.<\/li>\n<li>Radio for help. Humble yourself.
