{"id":2065,"date":"2010-10-28T00:13:36","date_gmt":"2010-10-28T00:13:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briandoddonleadership.com\/?p=2065"},"modified":"2010-10-28T00:13:36","modified_gmt":"2010-10-28T00:13:36","slug":"8-thoughts-about-what-god-thinks-of-leaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briandoddonleadership.com\/2010\/10\/28\/8-thoughts-about-what-god-thinks-of-leaders\/","title":{"rendered":"8 Thoughts About What God Thinks Of Leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nzhistory.net.nz\/files\/images\/erebus-cross.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you ever wonder what God thinks of you as a leader?<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0 Is He impressed?\u00c2\u00a0 Is He proud of you?\u00c2\u00a0 Do you think\u00c2\u00a0He appreciate\u00c2\u00a0your efforts, motives, and hard work?\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>I think I got a small picture of what He thinks about our Christian leadership efforts\u00c2\u00a0today.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You see, I&#8217;ve been working on a project at work for several weeks.\u00c2\u00a0 The\u00c2\u00a0sum\u00c2\u00a0part\u00c2\u00a0of those efforts culminated today with the arrival to my office\u00c2\u00a0of\u00c2\u00a0the conference workbooks I oversaw the creation of.\u00c2\u00a0 Did you catch that, <strong>something I helped create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Genesis 1:26 tells us we were created by Him in His image<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0The feelings I had about my creation gave me a small window into how I think\u00c2\u00a0God feels about His creation, you and me.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>I Was <strong>Proud<\/strong> Of My Creation<\/li>\n<li>I\u00c2\u00a0Knew The <strong>Amount Of Effort <\/strong>That Went Into My Creation<\/li>\n<li>I Knew My Creation <strong>Wasn&#8217;t Perfect But I Loved It Anyway<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>No One Can Tell Me <\/strong>That My Creation Was Bad\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>My Creation Was<strong> Unique<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>My Creation Sits On My Shelf Life A <strong>Trophy<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>My Creation Will Have A <strong>Positive Impact <\/strong>On Others<\/li>\n<li>I <strong>Showed My Creation <\/strong>To Everyone In The Office<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>There are several HUGE differences between God&#8217;s creation of human beings and my feeble attempt of\u00c2\u00a0creativity\u00c2\u00a0with a conference workbook<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 One is that\u00c2\u00a0I needed the help of others while God is\u00c2\u00a0completely self-sustaining.\u00c2\u00a0 The main one though is that as much as I appreciated the workbook, <strong>I would never die for it<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>I certainly would not sacrifice something important for it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesus loved the human race so much that He died for it <\/strong>allowing\u00c2\u00a0an eternal relationship with Him to take place.\u00c2\u00a0 When I looked at that beautiful, wonderful workbook <strong>I couldn&#8217;t help but think about how\u00c2\u00a0Jesus\u00c2\u00a0must feel when\u00c2\u00a0He looks at me.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How do you think Jesus feels about you?<\/p>\n<p>To automatically receive\u00c2\u00a0future posts on leadership, simply subscribe or\u00c2\u00a0click <a title=\"RSS Feed\" href=\"https:\/\/briandoddonleadership.com\/feed\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you ever wonder what God thinks of you as a leader?\u00c2\u00a0 Is He impressed?\u00c2\u00a0 Is He proud of you?\u00c2\u00a0 Do you think\u00c2\u00a0He appreciate\u00c2\u00a0your efforts, motives, and hard work?\u00c2\u00a0 I think I got a small picture of what He thinks about our Christian leadership efforts\u00c2\u00a0today.
