There are many phobias in the world today.  We have all heard of homophobia which is the fear or contempt for gays.  This past week I heard a new term – Islamophobia, the fear or contempt of people who practice Islam.

However, the most attacked group by far in the world today is evangelical Christians.  There are many out there who have an outright fear or contempt of Jesus Christ, in particular, and Christians in general.

Whether it is martyrdom, persecution, or simply being ridiculed in the media or by others, Christophobia is a reality that many are forced to deal with.

WorldNet Daily reports “that an estimated 176,000 Christians around the world were martyred – killed for their faith – in a one-year period from the middle of 2008 to the middle of 2009.  That’s 482 deaths per day, one every three minutes.”  To read the full article, click here.

No other “persecuted” group even comes close.  Where is media?  Where is the outrage?  How does this make you feel?
