One of the saddest realities of today’s churches is many senior pastors are financially BROKE.  That is right.  Many pastors are paycheck-to-paycheck or even worse, deeply in debt and struggling to make ends meet.

When I am asked how churches can develop a culture of generosity, one of the first things I mention is the leadership must lead the way and be winning with their personal finances.  This is because the church and its people truly are a picture of the leader.
