A renowned speaker, author and advisor on accelerated business growth, his company, Predictable Success, advises CEOs and senior leaders of organizations on how to achieve scalable, sustainable growth. His latest book is “Do Lead: Share Your vision. Inspire Others. Achieve The Impossible.”

  1. Predictable success is the ability to scale.
  2. Early struggle is the first stage of starting anything.  Churches start with personified leadership.
  3. At the beginning the church is the senior pastor and a group of enablers.
  4. The next stage is Fun.
  5. The most frequent word in Fun is “Yes!”
  6. We then begin to move to team leadership and titles.
  7. Some senior pastors are visionaries.  Some are arsonists.
  8. The lack of alignments between the personified leader and the leadership team brings weariness and tears the team apart.
  9. Drop the phrase “Founding Pastor.”  It’s not helpful.
  10. The development of a mature team as you grow is important.

  23. A leadership team is a machine for decision-making.  This is how you get out of whitewater.
  24. A decision has two parts – the making of a decision and the implementation of the decision.
  25. Leadership is about slowing down the decision-making process and speeding up the implementation process.
