Basically everyone is OK with the concept of God – a higher power who is over everything.  But say the name of Jesus and a line is drawn in the sand.  This is because Jesus demands a decision.  You will either respond to Jesus or you will reject Him.  There is no middle ground.

Jesus reminds us we are sinners who need a Savior.  Yes, Jesus loves us more than we can ever imagine.  But Jesus is also pure and holy and demands we repent of our sin and follow Him not only as Savior, but Lord.  It is not PC to say there is only one way to God and it is through the person of Jesus Christ.  It is also not PC to tell people about the sin in their lives.

As leaders, our response to Jesus will be the number one determinant to our success.

The Bible is the greatest leadership book every written!  As I was reading through Proverbs 10 this morning I gleaned 26 Non-PC Consequences For Leaders Who Do Not Follow Jesus’ Teachings found in Proverbs 10:

  1. Being a foolish leader brings sorrow to your parents. – v.1
  2. Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit. – v.2

I want you to be the best leader you can possibly be.  For me to have any integrity, I must advise you this begins with the decision of will you respond to Jesus or will you reject Him?  I pray you respond to Him today.  It will not only be the great leadership decision you ever make, it will be the best decision you ever make.  Eternity is too long to be wrong.
