The readers of this site are smart. As a result, one of things I try to do is make sure you are always resourced with quality leadership content. Therefore, I want to make you aware of the best leadership book I have read in a long, long time.
Leadership In Turbulent Times, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Doris Kearns Goodwin, is an absolute masterpiece. Goodwin draws upon the four presidents she has studied most closely — Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Lyndon B. Johnson (in civil rights)— to show how they recognized leadership qualities within themselves and were recognized as leaders by others. By looking back to their first entries into public life, we encounter them at a time when their paths were filled with confusion, fear, and hope. Kearns then follows their lives through public service and all the way to their passings.
If you are wondering what to get the leader(s) in your life for Christmas, this seminal work will exceed their expectations. Click here to learn more and order. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. This book is that good.
