Aquaman is a great movie!!! Last evening, I had an opportunity to attend an advanced screening of the latest DC movie and was not disappointed. Starring Jason Momoa as the underwater legend Arthur Curry, this movie is already a global sensation making over $250 million internationally at the time of this writing.
Visually, this movie reminded me of the first Thor movie because the spectacle of Atlantis was similar to Asguard. Aquaman also does a great job of balancing an origin film with Curry’s modern-day tasks of saving the world from his evil brother King Orm and the pirate Manta.
Curry’s guide through the film is Queen Mera, played by Amber Heard, who also becomes his love interest. Also, Nicole Kidman adds an immeasuarable level of class to the movie as Curry’s mother Queen Atlanna. This is a great movie for your entire family. There is no abusive language or hint of nudity.
