On Friday, February 1st Julius Peppers retired from the NFL after 17 years. He will surely be a first ballot Hall of Famer. Peppers announced his retirement through the wonderful and classy video shown above. It is something ever leader should watch.

- 9 Pro Bowls
- 52 forced fumbles (2nd all-time)
- 159.5 sacks (4th all-time)
- 175 tackles for loss (2nd all-time)
- 4 interceptions for touchdowns as a defensive end. 6 non-offensive touchdowns total.
- the first player in NFL history with 100 sacks and 10 interceptions
