The evening session was Creative and Innovative Approaches for Effective Church Growth by Dr. Rickie Rush. Pastor Rush is the Senior Pastor of the Inspiring Body of Christ Church in Dallas, TX. The following are 22 quotes from his informative session:

- People work for positions rather than value. If you want to hurt someone in church change their position.
- If you remove a person’s position, they feel like you are removing their value.
- It’s strange if someone ever knows all we’ve been through. We give them a testimony but not details.
- For a few minutes can you look like a mess so someone else can be blessed.
- Where do you go when your cheerleader dies?Where does Rocky go when Mickey dies?
- There would be no you if God didn’t give you a corner man.
