9 Qualities Of The Best Leaders

This is what I know about you.  If you are reading this post you want to be the best leader you possibly could be.  You want to reach your God-given potential and fully live out your calling.  You want to leave it all on the field and have no regrets.

In the July 10th edition of the USA Today, the legendary tennis superstar Roger Federer is profiled.  As I read the article, I gleaned the following are 9 Qualities Of The Best Leaders:

1. The Best Leaders Become Legends – Dominic Theim said, “He’s such a legend.”
2. It Is A Privilege To Work With The Best Leaders – Theim added, “And for all us younger players, it’s really a privilege to still be able to compete with him and to play against him in the finals of big tournaments.”

4. The Best Leaders Are Lasting Leaders – They are not flash in the pans.  Federer’s first singles title took place at an event which does not even exist anymore.

6. The Best Leaders Finish Well – Federer has won 14 titles since turning age 35.
7. The Best Leaders Adapt – Federer has defeated 16 different Americans in tournament finals.  These players came in all shapes, sizes and different playing styles.
8. The Best Leaders Are Consistent Leaders – Federer has spent 310 weeks as the top-ranked player in the world.
9. The Best Leaders Leverage Their Experience – 70 of Federer’s 103 singles titles have come against younger players.
