What does it take to be a good leader? This is a question every one reading this site has asked at one time or another. Perhaps you are wondering it right now. To provide you some clarity on this topic, I want to look at the words of a true Apex Leader.
John Stockton played for 19 years in the NBA, all with the Utah Jazz. He is a 10-time all-star, 1992 USA Olympic Dream Teamer, and Hall of Famer. Stockton is also the league’s all-time leader in assists and steals by a substantial margin.
But more important than his robust personal accomplishments, the Jazz made the play-offs each year of his career. On two occasions, the team played for the NBA championship but unfortunately faced Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.
John Stockton is a great, great leader. As you can see the image above, here are his thoughts on what makes a good leader:

- A Good Leader Is Generous – “more than you want to shine yourself.”
