In this next film of the series, Kong’s home Skull Island has been destroyed by a storm. As a result, our leading man, make that primate, has been relocated to his new home/research facility. While there, he has been studied by anthropological linguist Dr. Ilene Andrews, played by Rebecca Hall. Dr. Andrews’s hearing-impaired adopted daughter Jia, played by Kaylee Hottle, is the lone survivor of the island’s Iwi tribe and has a special relationship with Kong.
Meanwhile, Godzilla shows up in Pensacola, FL to destroy a research facility making mechanical monsters. Afterwards, he begins to track Kong. From there, we all know where this is headed.
Godzilla vs. Kong is what it is. This movie will not be nominated for any Academy Awards for acting or screenplay. What it is is simply a “turn off your brain” and enjoy loud noises and mass destruction. So if you are looking for pure escapism with only one GD and no hint of anything sexual, this movie is for you.
The following are 7 Leadership Quotes and Lessons From Godzilla vs. Kong:
