The #1 Leadership Lesson I Learned Working For John Maxwell

Today is a very special day for me and as a result, this is a very special blog post.  18 years ago today, August 26, 2002, I walked into the offices of INJOY Stewardship Solutions in Duluth, GA and began my career serving pastors and church leaders as a leadership and generosity coach and consultant.

It was a dream of mine to work for my spiritual hero Dr. John Maxwell and the experience did not disappoint.  John was everything I imagined he would be and more.  Working for him was one of the greatest experiences of my life.  Though he sold our company a decade ago, I have never lost the passion for serving pastors and church leaders I initially had.  It has only increased since 2002.

In the video above, I celebrate my 18th anniversary by sharing The #1 Leadership Lesson I Learned Working For John Maxwell.  Trust me, it’s not what you think it is.

The video is less than 10 minutes long.  I hope you enjoy it and are challenged and inspired today to become the leader God created you to be.
