Ike’s thoughts centered on developing an attitude of gratitude in 2020. John Maxwell has often said, “Your attitude determines your altitude.” In other words, it determines how high you go in your relationships, career, and life. The following are 5 Steps For Your Family To Cultivate An Attitude Of Gratitude In 2020 given to us by Ike in today’s message:
- Write Down Your Blessings – Take time each day to reflect on 5 things you are thankful for and have your family write them down.
- Share What You Are Thankful For – If you are really thankful, the more you share. And the more you share, the more you get excited about it.
- Meditate On Your Blessings – God gave you a gift 86,400 seconds in a day. Have you taken just ten seconds to thank Him today for your blessings.
- Take An Action – Find someone you can write a note to every week. Gratitude is the moss exquisite form of courtesy.
- Seek It – Get around people with a spirit of gratitude. They will infect you in the most positive way.
When you do everything you can do, God can then do what only He can do. And He wants to bless you abundantly. This starts by doing the five things listed above to develop an attitude of gratitude.
