A Historic Performance
This past weekend, the Miami Dolphins scored an astonishing 70 points in their victory over the Denver Broncos. It was the second most points ever scored in a NFL regular season game.
A Different Perspective
Afterwards, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel gave all leaders a new definition of innovation. He said, “We’re going to do the opposite of what everyone else is doing. That’s the only way to be innovative. When designing an offense you should break the rules of what previous coaches have taught. If you’re following the rules the defense has an advantage.”
To be innovative you must break the rules and often do things the opposite of which everyone else is doing them.
That’s going to be tough for all rule-followers to hear!
